The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2026 round 1 seat allotment results at mcc.nic.in. Candidates who find any discrepancy in the NEET UG counselling 2026 provisional allotment result can report to MCC by August 21 at 3:59 pm. A total of 29,945 MBBS and BDS seats have been allotted in round 1 counselling.

Candidates can download the NEET UG allotment result using their login details such as NEET UG roll number and password. Those who have been allotted MBBS, BDS and AYUSH Nursing seats through the NEET UG 2026 round 2 seat allotment results will have to confirm their seat before the last date.
Candidates who have not been allotted any seat in private or government medical colleges in round 1 of the NEET UG counselling, can fill the choices for the subsequent rounds of counselling.
As the next step, candidates who have been allotted colleges, can freeze or float their allotment as per their choices. Notably, the new guidelines by the medical committee says that no physical reporting for candidates opting for upgradation is needed.

- Go to the official website at mcc.nic.in/ug-medical-counselling.
- On the homepage, click on the round 1 seat allotment result link.
- A new window will open.
- Enter application number and password.
- NEET UG round 1 allotment result will appear on the screen.
- Check your allotted college and course.
- Download the allotment result for future reference.
The MCC round 1 counselling covers seats under the All India Quota (AIQ), deemed universities, central institutes and ESIC institutions.
The NEET UG round 1 seat allotment is done on the basis of factors including the candidate’s NEET UG 2026 all india rank, category, choices filled during counselling and availability of seats.
