NEET UG 2026 syllabus finalised; no chapters removed in physics, chemistry, biology

The updated NEET UG syllabus 2026 will apply for the upcoming MBBS entrance exam, the Undergraduate Medical Education Board (UGMEB) said.

In an official notice titled “Updated syllabus for NEET UG 2026”, the NMC said the updated syllabus for NEET UG 2026 in now available on the official website, nmc.org.in, for the preparation of the study material and NEET exam for the academic session 2026-27.
A comparison of the NEET UG 2025 and 2026 syllabi shows that no major chapters or topics have been removed, and the overall structure remains unchanged. The NEET UG question paper will be mostly based on the physics, chemistry, and biology subjects followed by the NCERT syllabus. However, the NTA does not recommend any specific textbooks.
The NEET UG 2026 registration is expected to begin in the first week of February, as per past trends. The NEET UG exam date 2026 will be announced by the National Testing Agency (NTA) soon on the official website, neet.nta.nic.in.
