NEET UG Counselling 2021: MCC withdraws round-1 final result

The Medical Counselling Committee has withdrawn the final result of round-1 of NEET UG counselling 2021 from its website.

NEW DELHI: The Medical Counselling Committee has withdrawn the final result of round-1 of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG counselling 2021 today on February 2,2022 while not citing any reason.

“The final result of Round 1 of UG counselling 2021 is withdrawn. Please wait for the updated final result,” said a kicker on the official website.

Earlier, the Committee published the round-1 result on its website. “It is for the information to all the candidates that the Final Result of Round-1 of NEET UG Counselling 2021 is now available. The Provisional Allotment Letters can be downloaded from MCC website after 2 pm of February 2, 2022,” said an official notification.

Moreover, the provisional result of round-1 of NEET UG counselling 2021 was published on January 27, 2022, but the MCC pulled it down due to a court case. The MCC is now treating those results as 'null and void.'

As per the NEET UG counselling provisional result notice, candidates can send their queries to mccresultquery@gmail.com. A total of 20,064 candidates have been selected in the first round of NEET counselling 2021. The provisional result of NEET counselling result pdf mentions roll number, All India Rank (AIR), category, college allotted and remarks.

According to the MCC notice, NEET UG Counselling 2021 will be conducted in four rounds: Round 1,Round 2, AIQ Mop-up Round, and AIQ Stray Vacancy Round for allotment of undergraduate (MBBS, BDS) seats to the eligible and qualified candidates.
