NEW DELHI: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has issued a notice regarding the round-1 of NEET UG counselling 2022. Candidates to resign round-1 seats till 7 pm today, November 2, 2022.
If the candidate does not resign their allotted seats, they will be considered as a part of round-2 of the UG counselling. MCC advises candidates to ensure that their resignation letter is generated online through portal provided by MCC by their allotted college. In failing to do so, the resignation will be treated 'null and void'.

Any letter other than the resignation letter will not be considered. If candidate is resigning by sending email to college, they should make sure that they receive resignation letter generated only through the MCC online portal. If the candidate gives consent for upgradation to the round-2 of counselling, participates but is not upgraded, they will not be allowed to resign the seat.
In such a case rules of round-2 will apply since the candidate has exercised choices and participated in round-2. "Round-1 joined candidates who neither participate in round-2 nor resign the seat of round-1 will be considered part of round-2 after the stipulated time." said the MCC notice.
