NEW DELHI: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has allowed resignation for candidates allotted seats under round 1 and 2 of the National Eligibility Entrance Test - Undergraduate (NEET UG) counselling 2024. Those who wish to resign their seats can do so before October 1, 2024. The counselling committee took the decision after receiving requests from several students.
“It is for the information of all candidates that requests are being received from UG candidates who want to resign their Round-1 or Round-2 seats due to various reasons. In this regard, the competent authority has decided to allow resignation for such candidates. The candidates who desire to leave their Round-1 or Round-2 seat can do so up to 5 PM of 01.10.2024,” said MCC in an official notification.
MCC issued the following instructions for candidates with regard to resignation:
The MCC NEET UG round 2 seat allotment result 2024 was announced on September 19. The last date to report to the allotted colleges is September 27. The schedule was revised after the addition of new seats approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC).
MCC conducts NEET UG counselling every year in four stages for 15 percent All India Quota (AIQ) seats in MBBS and BDS programmes offered by government and private medical and dental colleges.
