NEW DELHI: The National Entrance Screening Test (NEST 2023) registration will start today, February 27. The last date to register online for NEST 2023 exam is May 17. The official NEST 2023 website is nestexam.in. The NEST 2023 examination will be conducted at multiple centres on June 24, 2023.
NEST is held for admission to the National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar and University of Mumbai - Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM-DAE CEBS), Mumbai. The candidates admitted to the programme in NISER or CEBS will be eligible to receive an annual scholarship of Rs 60,000 through the DISHA program of the Department of Atomic Energy and a grant of Rs 20,000 per annum for the summer internship.
As per the NEST 2023 eligibility criteria, candidates must have passed Class 12 examination in 2021 or 2022 or appearing in 2023. Candidates must have scored 60 percent marks in aggregate or equivalent in Class 12 examination from any recognized Board. Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) candidates and Divyangjan candidates will however have to score minimum 55 percent marks.

Step 4: Pay the application fee
Step 5: Submit the NEST 2023 application fee
The candidates belonging to the General, OBC category will have to pay Rs 1,200, while female applicants and Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) candidates and Divyangjan candidates will have to pay Rs 600 as NEST 2023 registration fee.
