NEW DELHI: The National Institute of Design has declared the NID DAT final result for BDes admission 2021-2022 on July 27 at admissions.edu.com. Candidates shortlisted based on the final NID DAT 2021 result are invited for counselling. Due to the current COVID 19 pandemic situation in the country, the institute has decided to conduct NID DAT counselling in online mode.

NID DAT 2021 Counselling - Guidelines
NID DAT counselling 2021 for BDes admission will be conducted online within 3 days from the declaration of the final result. Shortlisted candidates for online counselling will be called for round 1 NID DAT 2021 counselling based on the seat availability under each category.
Candidates can attend the online counselling by logging into the Zoom meeting link using the id and passcode which has already been provided on the result page. During online counselling round 1, candidates will be asked to choose the institute to be admitted in, based on the seat availability and merit rank in respect to the category.
Candidates have to pay the non-refundable fee and upload requisite documents within the specified time to confirm the provisionally allotted seat. The window to pay the fee and upload documents will be available at admissions.nid.edu within 2 days from the completion of the online NID DAT 2021 counselling.
In case if a candidate fails to upload documents or pay the non-refundable fee then the provisionally allocated seats will be cancelled and the seat will be given to the next qualifying candidate. However, such candidates can participate in NID DAT counselling 2021 round 2.
Candidates who have already confirmed the allotted seat also have a chance to participate in other rounds of counselling. To do so, candidates have to submit the willingness to join the other rounds of NID DAT counselling 2021.
NID DAT 2021 Counselling - Document Verification
The respective NID will verify the submitted documents against the information provided in the application form. If the situation permits, the respective NIDs will conduct the physical document verification of candidates. Post verification, if the submitted document is found invalid/ incorrect then candidature of such candidates will stand cancelled. The cancelled seat will be allotted to the next candidate in the order of merit.
NID DAT Counselling 2021 - Provisional offer letter for admission
Provisional offer letters of admission will be given to candidates whose uploaded documents are verified valid. The concerned NIDs will communicate to candidates directly for the payment of the remaining fees.
