Based on the scores obtained in the NID DAT 2022 Prelims, eligible candidates will be shortlisted for the DAT Mains. Admit Cards for shortlisted candidates will be available for download only on the official NID admissions website -admissions.nid.edu.

The National Institute of Design offers various B.Des and M.Des programmes. Students need to secure the minimum qualifying marks to gain NID admission for the batch 2022 in the institute.

Expected NID DAT 2022 cutoff - Campus wise

The NID DAT 2022 answer sheets of the candidates will be available for one year after the announcement of the NID DAT final result. The answer sheets will be available on request, only after the admissions process is completed. No request for NID DAT 2022 answer sheets during the admissions process will be entertained.

Any students seeking their NID DAT answer sheet for the admission cycle 2022-23 will have to make an online payment of Rs 1000 separately per exam and also submit the NID DAT admit card 2022 duly attested by the Invigilator with the seal of the DAT test centre.

NID DAT 2022 has been successfully conducted today, January 2, 2022, in various exam centres. NID Design Aptitude Test was held in offline pen and paper mode. Candidates were not allowed to take the Question-Cum-Answer booklet outside the NID DAT examination hall.

According to the DAT candidates, a total of 26 questions were asked. In the multiple-choice section, questions related to the Padma Shri Award, COVID-19, folk and culture of different Indian communities, and History of Designing were asked.

On the other hand, subjective type sections mainly consist of pictorial and textual questions. In the subjective section, candidates were asked to design a poster using both visuals and text related to bullying awareness programmes in colleges and schools.

According to the DAT aspirants and experts, the overall difficulty level of the exam was moderate. Most students found the pictorial and diagram section to be very tricky, however, the general knowledge area is easy to moderate.

Another student said, “The NID DAT questions were quite lengthy and were moderate. However, I tried all the questions and the reasonable and logical part was easy”.

The National Institute of design has successfully conducted the NID DAT 2022 prelims for M.Des today, January 2, at 2.30 PM, in various exam centres. The NID entrance test 2022 was conducted in offline pen and paper mode. Students are currently coming out of the exam center.

The NID entrance exam 2022 for Master of Design (MDes) or MDesign is going to conclude at 2.30 PM. After the conclusion of the two-tier design entrance exam for M.Des, the overall NID DAT analysis will be released.

As per the NID exam date 2022, the NID entrance exam for M.Des will conclude at 2.30 PM. The duration of the NID DAT MDes is 270 minutes. NID DAT MDes prelims exam consists of Common Design Aptitude Test (CDAT) and a discipline-specific test. Students will be given admissions based on their performance in both exams.

According to the students and NID DAT experts, the difficulty level of the DAT exam for BDes was moderate. Most students found the pictorial and diagram section to be very tricky, however, the GK section is easy. There are a total of 26 questions in which Questions 1 - 22 were objective type multiple choice and 23 - 26 are subjective type questions.

Another student said, “The NID DAT 2022 questions were quite lengthy and were moderate. However, I attempt all the questions and the LR section was a bit easy”.

NID exam syllabus 2022

Candidates who are going to appear in the prelims exam of the NID entrance exam 2022 have started reaching the exam centre.

NID DAT 2022 exam will have 26 questions with a total of 100 marks. However, the NID DAT exam 2022 will not have negative marks for incorrect answers.

• At the registration desk, students should clean their hands using the sanitizer provided.

• Do not dispose of used masks and gloves in the examination room; Dispose of them when you get home.
