NIFTEE 2025 Stage 2: Situation test on June 8 for UG programmes; PG interviews from May 26

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the schedule for the National Institute of Fashion Technology Entrance Examination (NIFTEE) 2025 stage 2 for shortlisted candidates. The testing agency will conduct the NIFT 2025 stage 2 situation test and interview on June 8 for several undergraduate (UG) programmes.

As per the official notice, NIFTEE 2025 admit cards for Stage 2 will be released soon on the official website at exams.nta.ac.in/NIFT/. The NIFT 2025 admit card will include details such as the exam date, reporting time, venue, and instructions for the tests and interviews.

NIFT 2025 Stage 2 Exam: Situation test, interview for UG programmes

The testing agency will conduct the NIFTEE 2025 situation test for Bachelor of Design (BDes) candidates across 18 cities in the country. The test will assess model construction, material handling, and other design-related skills of selected candidates.

Candidates applying for BDes through the National Lateral Entry Admission (NLEA) pathway will have to appear for a studio test and a personal interview on the same day. These will be conducted at the designated test centres. For candidates under the BDes Artisans category, the artisan skill test and the interview will also take place on June 8, 2025, at the specified centres.

As per the official schedule, candidates seeking admission to the Bachelor of Fashion Technology (BFTech) programme through the National Lateral Entry Admission (NLEA) route will have to appear for a Technical Ability Test (TAT) and a interview on the same day. The Technical Ability Test will be conducted in a paper-based Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) format.

NIFT Stage 2 Exam 2025: Interview schedule for PG programmes

For postgraduate programmes including Master of Design (MDes), Master of Fashion Management (MFM), and Master of Fashion Technology (MFTech), the Personal Interviews will be conducted only in Delhi.

The interviews are scheduled to commence on May 26, 2025, and will continue for around eight to ten days. The NTA stated that specific details regarding the venue will be mentioned in the interview call letter that will be issued to each candidate.
