NIIT University in Rajasthan is launching BTech courses in new disciplines such as data science and cyber security.

NEW DELHI: NIIT University (NU), a private university in Rajasthan, has introduced four new programmes in engineering and management. It has launched BTech in communication and computer engineering, BTech in data science, BTech in cyber security, and bachelors in business administration to train students in new-age skills.
The university plans to introduce the four new programmes in the academic year starting in 2021. As per a statement issued by the university: “The course curriculum focuses on holistic learning while keeping students at par with technological advancements. These ensure that students are industry-ready as they graduate to work in today’s dynamic environment.”
The BTech in data science degree aims training students to use datasets and models to solve real-world problems; BTech in communication and computer engineering is dedicated to carrying out ICT-based management and integrating telecom systems with associated software; BTech in cyber security will train students in the latest trends in cyber security, explained the press statement. The BBA is a three-year undergraduate management programme.
