NIT Jamshedpur is conducting NIMCET 2024 for admission into MCA programme in nine National Institutes of Technology.

NEW DELHI: The National Institute of Technology (NIT Jamshedpur) has started the NIMCET 2024 registration process on the official website, nimcet.in, today. The NIT MCA Common Entrance Test (NIMCET 2024) is a national-level test for admission to Master of Computer Applications into the nine NITs at Agartala, Allahabad, Bhopal, Jamshedpur, Kurukshetra, Raipur, Surathkal, Tiruchirappalli (Trichy), and Warangal for the academic year 2024-25.
Students applying for the NIMCET 2024 will have to pay a non-refundable application fee of 2,500. Candidates from SC, ST and PwD categories will have to pay a registration fee of Rs 1,250. They can only deposit the processing fee online through NIMCET- 2024 website.
Candidates applying for the NIMCET 2024 should have secured a minimum of 60% aggregate marks or 6.5 CGPA in these degrees:
Students belonging from SC, ST and PwD categories will have to get 55% aggregate marks or 6.0 CGPA in these degrees. Students appearing for the qualifying marks can also apply for NIMCET 2024.
The students will have to upload the Class 10 certificate, mark sheet of bachelor’s degree, NIMCET score card and category certificate during the time of counselling process.
