The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has announced the date sheet for the NIOS Class 10 secondary and Class 12 senior secondary public exams 2026. The NIOS theory exams will begin from April 10, as per the date sheet, in selected exam centres in India.
According to the NIOS date sheet, the Class 10, 12 theory exams for April 2026 will conclude on May 6. Students can download the NIOS 10th 12th date sheet 2026 on the official website nios.ac.in.
The NIOS Class 10, 12 exam will be held from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm; however, some exams will conclude at 4:30 pm.
Before the NIOS public exam 2026, the hall ticket for registered 10th and 12th students will be made available on the official website, sdmis.nios.ac.in, through the student login.

NIOS has said that in some states like Rajasthan, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Bihar, and Uttar Pradesh, a few exam dates have been changed. This is because of assembly elections, other competitive exams, and state holidays.
"The NIOS Class 10, 12 results for the public theory exams are likely to be announced within 7 weeks after the last exam. It also said that no enquiries about the exact result date will be entertained. The results will be available on the official website," NIOS said.
