NIRF Ranking 2021 Engineering College: IIT Delhi and IIT Bombay have come second and third in the education ministry’s ranking of engineering institutions.

NEW DELHI: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras is the top engineering college in the country again, according to the National Institutional Ranking Framework India rankings for this year. IIT Madras has held this place since the inception of the education ministry's ranking exercise and the first list in 2016 making this the sixth year in a row that it has been at the top. The NIRF Ranking 2021 was released by the education minister Dharmendra Pradhan today, September 9. The second and third rank-holders in NIRF engineering ranking 2021 were IIT Delhi and IIT Bombay.

In the NIRF ranking for architecture, IIT Roorkee holds the top position followed by National Institute of Technology Calicut and IIT Kharagpur.
In last year’s NIRF ranking, the top three ranks in the engineering category were held by Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) with IIT Madras at the top followed by IIT Delhi and IIT Bombay. In NIRF Ranking for architecture, IIT Kharagpur and IIT Roorkee held the first two positions, with National Institute of Technology (NIT) Calicut at the third position.
