NEW DELHI: The Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) is conducting the NMAT exam across 66 test centres and 52 cities today. At the time of the NMAT 2020 exam, the authorities ensured that the candidates followed certain guidelines which have been laid down such as carrying of the NMAT 2020 admit card, instructions related to answering of questions inside the exam hall in wake of COVID 19 pandemic, what all was allowed inside the exam hall and what was not allowed.

NMAT 2020 Exam - Guidelines

The candidates who are appearing in the NMAT 2020 examination had to follow the instructions as they appeared for the NMAT 2020 exam.

  • Candidates without the NMAT 2020 admit card were not allowed to appear for the exam.

  • Those appearing for the NMAT 2020 exam arrived at the test centre at least half an hour before the commencement of the exam.

  • Candidates had to carry the confirmation email print out.

  • Also the candidates who are appearing for the exam, they had to carry any one of the following Primary ID/ Photo ID proof in the original format, which Includes -

    • Aadhaar card

    • Pan card

    • Voter ID card

    • Passport

    • Driving License

Face Shield at the NMAT 2020 test centre

Candidates who are appearing for the NMAT 2020 exam, some of them were seen wearing face shield as a matter of extra precaution. Those without the masks were not allowed to appear for the NMAT 2020 exam

Lockers provided at test centre

At the test centre, lockers were arranged were the candidates were allowed to keep their back packs and the mobile phones inside the locker before the candidates proceeded for the NMAT 2020 exam.

What is not allowed at the time of the NMAT 2020 Exam

Apart from the required documentation to be carried to the examination centre along with the NMAT admit card 2020, candidates were not permitted to carry with them the following devices and items

  • Electronic devices like mobile phones, smartwatch/ normal watch, digital calculators, etc. are not permitted inside the examination hall.

  • For an NMAT 2020 online computer-based test (CBT), no stationery items are allowed into the examination centre.

About NMAT 2020:

The NMAT is a national level entrance examination which is conducted by the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC). The NMAT exam is conducted in the computer-based test (CBT) mode for admission to the MBA programmes which are offered at various institutes.
