NMIMS achieved NAAC grade A++ during the 4th accreditation cycle, which is valid for 7 years. The institute aims to establish ties with international institutions and students.

Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) has received a National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) grade of A++, with a CGPA of 3.67 during its fourth accreditation cycle. The A++ rating is valid for a period of seven years and positions NMIMS as a benchmark for higher education excellence in India, as per an official statement.
NMIMS A++ grade allows the institute to forge partnerships with top global universities, and to attract international students. This, the statement says, will contribute significantly to India’s goal of becoming a global education hub. NMIMS aims to do this all while maintaining its commitment to developing industry-ready professionals and socially responsible leaders.
During the NAAC accreditation, NMIMS followed a long evaluation process covering a variety of criteria such as curricular aspects, research output, teaching and learning process evaluations, infrastructure, student support, governance, and best practices.
NMIMS accreditation 2025 earned a CGPA of 3.67, an increase from its score of 3.59 in the third accreditation cycle in the year 2017. As per the NMIMS official statement, NMIMS has consistently shown an upward trajectory in all four rounds of NAAC accreditation.

Upon achieving the NMIMS NAAC grade, Ramesh Bhat the vice chancellor of NMIMS said: “Each experience of accreditation has been a testament to our unwavering commitment to academic excellence and institutional quality. This milestone is also a tribute to our brilliant students, parents, recruiters, Executive Council, Academic Council, Board of Studies members, and esteemed alumni, who have stood by us, supported us, and believed in our mission.”
Meena Chintamaneni, pro vice chancellor of NMIMS said: “Earning the A++ grade with a CGPA of 3.67 reflects our steady growth across all dimensions of quality education. Our focus remains on contributing meaningfully to India’s gross enrolment ratio and the larger vision of Viksit Bharat as outlined by the Prime Minister.”
