The National Testing Agency (NTA) has notified several Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main candidates to upload a Photo Verification Certificate after it was identified that their applications contained identity documents such as PAN card, Indian Passport, or Non-Indian Passport. Those candidates will have to complete the process by January 7 through the NTA’s official website at jeemain.nta.nic.in.

The NTA has informed the concerned candidates through email, directing them to download the photo verification certificate from their login, fill in the required details, along with a passport-size photograph, and get it attested by the school or college principal.
The certificate should then be scanned and uploaded in PDF format using the link provided on the JEE Main candidate portal, the official email said.

Notably, candidates must note that the signature of the principal or the headmaster of a school must partially overlap both the photograph and the certificate, failing which the document may be rejected.
In addition, JEE Main applicants are advised to carry a printed copy of the photo verification certificate to their examination centre on the date of the exam for physical identity verification by examination officials, the testing agency said.
