NEW DELHI: The combined results for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test - NEET 2020 will be released on October 16 on the official website ntaneet.nic.in. The same will also be released on the official website of the National Testing Agency (NTA) - nta.ac.in in the form of scorecard. Phase 2 of NEET 2020 will be conducted on October 14 in pen paper based mode for selected candidates as mentioned below.

In the wake of COVID-19 a significant number of candidates were unable to appear for the examination. Some of these were either COVID positive or residing in containment zones on the date of examination. For such medical aspirants the authorities are conducting NEET 2020 phase 2 on October 14 from 2 to 5 PM. The exam centres of NEET for Phase 2 are likely to remain the same and admit cards of candidates will be mailed to them on their registered mail ID 24 hours before the exam is scheduled.

How to download NEET 2020 result PDF?

Step 1 - Visit the official website of NTA NEET.

Step 2 - Click on ‘View NEET UG Result’.

Step 3 - Enter your login credentials for NEET result 2020.

Step 4 - Verify details mentioned on the scorecard.

Step 5 - Download the NEET result PDF and take 3-4 printouts of the same for future references.

NEET 2020 scorecard - How are marks calculated?

NEET 2020 question paper carries a total of 720 marks for 180 questions. The marking scheme of NEET is as follows:

  • Correct answer - 4 marks
  • Incorrect answer - (-1) marks
  • Unanswered - 0 marks

Using the marking scheme as per the NEET exam pattern, the raw score to be obtained in NEET exam can be calculated using the formula below.

NEET marks = 4 X total correct answers - 1 X total incorrect answers
