CSIR UGC NET December 2024 registration deadline extended till January 2; no change in exam date

NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the registration deadline for the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research National Eligibility Test (CSIR NET) 2024 for the December session exam. Eligible candidates can now fill out the CSIR UGC NET December 2024 till January 2, 2025, through the official website at csirnet.nta.ac.in. NTA Exams 2025 Live
“The National Testing Agency (NTA) is in receipt of various representations from the candidates to extend the last date of submission of online application form for Joint CSIR-UGC NET December 2024,” the official notice read.
The testing agency has also extended the deadline to make payment and edit the CSIR UGC NET December 2024 application form. As per the revised schedule, candidates can pay the CSIR UGC NET 2024 application fee till January 3 and make corrections in the particulars in the online application form on January 4 and January 5, 2025. The CSIR UGC NET exam is scheduled to be held from February 16 to 28.
Earlier, the last date to fill out the CSIR UGC NET December 2024 application form was December 30 and to make payment was December 31, 2024. Candidates were allowed to make changes in their CSIR UGC NET 2024 application forms on January 1 and January 2, 2025.

The NTA informed all registered candidates for the said examination to visit the website and verify their particulars. Candidates are further advised to make any necessary corrections to their details in their respective online application forms. Candidates can check the editable fields in the CSIR UGC NET 2024 application form once the correction window opens, as listed in the table below.
