The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG 2025) detailed notification will be released soon. The NTA NEET UG website will make the application link active once the notification is out. The official website to register for NEET UG 2025 is neet.nta.nic.in. The NEET UG 2025 is conducted every year for admission to undergraduate medical courses such as MBBS, BDS and other related courses in medical and dental colleges.
The high-level committee of seven members, chaired by former ISRO chief K Radhakrishnan, appointed to reform national exams has proposed significant changes to the NEET UG exam. As per reports, the committee has proposed a hybrid model, multiple-stage exam, and fewer attempts in the NEET UG exam.
The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) will be conducted will be conducted only once a year in CBT mode, featuring a shorter duration and fewer subjects, as recommended by the University Grants Commission (UGC). “CUET UG will continue to be conducted once a year. The government is looking at moving to computer adaptive test and technology-driven entrance exams in the near future," Union education minister Dharmendra Pradhan informed earlier.
The NTA has also announced the exam date for the CSIR NET 2024 December session exam. As per the schedule, the CSIR UGC NET 2024 exam will be held from February 16 to 28.
The University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) 2024 admit card for the December session exam has also been released by the NTA. Candidates who applied for the exam can download the UGC NET December 2024 admit card through the official website, ugcnet.nta.nic.in. The UGC NET December 2024 exam is scheduled to be held from January 3 to January 16, 2025, in two shifts. Shift 1 will take place from 9 am to 12 pm, and shift 2 will be held from 3 pm to 6 pm.
