NEW DELHI: National Testing Agency (NTA), has released the NEET 2020 admit card at ntaneet.nic.in. NEET admit card 2020 can now be downloaded by entering the application number, date of birth, password and the security pin given. NEET 2020 exam date is September 13, 2020.

As per the latest update over 10 lakhs aspirants have downloaded the ntaneet.nic.in admit card in just 24 hours, earlier NTA has notified that 15.97 lakh candidates have registered for the medical entrance test. The NEET exam will be held in 3842 exam centres across the country. Supreme Court has ruled that candidates overseas may come to India and appear for the exam.

NEET admit card released by NTA is now available at www.ntaneet.nic.in. NEET admit card download can be done using the required credentials. The admit card is a mandatory document that must be carried at the exam centre. NTA admit card also carries special guidelines for COVID-19 to be followed by aspirants. NEET exam will be held on September 13, for 15.97 lakh registered aspirants. Medical entrance exam will be conducted from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at 155 cities of India.

Seeing the numbers of NTA NEET admit card downloads which are over 10 lakhs in just 24 hours, Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal said that student wants to appear for NEET exam at any cost. In order to avoid any kind of inconvenience, the centers of the NEET 2020 exam have also been increased so that the exam will be conducted smoothly.

As per the recent reports, as many as 9,94,198 NTA NEET admit card 2020 downloads have been done. Earlier, more than 4 lakh aspirants had downloaded the admit cards within 3 hours of release of NEET hall ticket.
The education minister of Tamil Nadu, K A Sengottaiyan, in a press conference has requested the central government to either postpone NEET entrance exam or exemption of the state medical aspirants to attend the exam.

As per the reports, more than 9 lakh admit cards of NEET have been downloaded by aspirants amid protest against conducting the exams due to COVID-19 pandemic. As per the data till 10:00 AM, a total of 9,09,481 candidates have downloaded their nta neet admit card using the download link.

In a live interview with the Doordarshan Vineet Joshi, Director General of the National Testing Agency said that candidates coming from containment zones to appear for the medical entrance test can use the ntaneet.nic.in admit card as a pass. NTA DG has ensured aspirants that NEET 2020 exam will be conducted by taking full safety measures.
IIT Delhi Director V Ramgopal Rao said that any postponement in NEET 2020 examination will have "serious repercussions" on both medical education academic calendar and the career of bright students.
IIT Director also added that we have already lost so many months and the risk of coronavirus is not going to end soon. So we cannot be perpetually in lockdown mode. He also urged also aspirants to "trust the institutions" and take the entrance tests while following the COVID-19 safety guidelines.
As per the sources, On Wednesday after the release of NEET 2020 Admit, over four lakh admit cards for the medical entrance exam were downloaded within just three hours. As per the official NTA press release around 15.97 lakh aspirants have been registered for NEET 2020 for which a number of examination centres from 2,546 to 3,843.

If there will be chances where downloaded ntaneet.nic.in admit card will lose, aspirants are advised not to panic, and check their registered email ID. As per the official brochure, NTA will send NEET 2020 admit card PDF to the mail ID after the issuance date. Aspirants can download it and save it for future references.
