NTA to start student registration for practice centre from September 1

NEW DELHI, AUGUST 29: National Testing Agency (NTA) will be commencing the registration process for the mock test practice centre from September 1 for all interested applicants. Through the practice centres, the candidates will be able to prepare for the JEE Main examination which is going to be fully conducted as a computer-based test. NTA has announced that it is essential for the candidates to be registered to use the facilities of the practice centre. The mock test will be available online or the candidates can just visit the centres set up by the NTA authorities.

Previously, the registration process for practice centres had opened on the evening of August 28, 2018 for a short while, however, it was closed down due to some unknown reasons. A new announcement was then posted informing that the registration will be open from September 1, 2018.

Steps to Register for JEE Main Practice Centres

JEE Main aspirants can use the following steps to register for the practice centres. The link for registration will be open from September 1, 2018.

• The candidates will have to use their Google or Facebook credentials to log in.

• Next, the personal details have to provided by the candidates.

• Along with the personal details, the scanned photograph and valid photo id of the candidate have to be uploaded.

• Contact and academic details have to be submitted by the candidates.

• Candidates will have to select five test centres in order of preference and book their appointment.

• Since there are no restrictions on the number of registrations, the candidates will have to remember that it will be on first come first serve basis.

The mock test of JEE Main is being released on the same date i.e., September 1, 2018 by the authorities to help the candidates with their preparation for the upcoming examination. This will be an important day for all JEE Main aspirants since the online application form for the examination will also be made available on that very date.
