NEW DELHI: The Odisha Department of Women & Child Development has commenced the application process for recruitment of various Anganwadi Workers vacancies across the 30 districts of the state. Interested candidates can apply for Odisha Anganwadi Worker recruitment 2024 through the official website, engagement-awc.odisha.gov.in.
The Odisha Anganwadi Worker recruitment drive aims to fill over 2,500 vacancies in the department. The districts in which the recruitment will be done are Angul, Balangir, Balasore, Bargarh, Bhadrak, Bouch, Cuttack, Deogarh, Dhenkanal, Gajapati, Ganjam, Jagatsinghpur, Jajpur, Jharsuguda, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Kendrapada, Kendujhar, Khordha, Malkangiri, Mayurbhani, Nabarangpur, Nayagarh, Nuapada, Puri, Rayagada, Sambalpur, Subarnapur and Sundargarh.
Applicants for the Anganwadi Worker position must have completed their Senior Secondary education (10+2) in any discipline. For the Anganwadi Helper role, candidates should have at least completed their Matric education.
The age requirement for general category candidates is between 19 and 35 years. However, there is an age relaxation of up to three years for SEBC and five years for SC/ST categories.
