Odisha Class 12 Result 2021: Students can raise grievances by August 11, says CHSE

Download NowNEW DELHI: The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) has asked students to raise their grievances, if any, regarding Class 12 results by August 11, a New Indian Express report said. CHSE declared Class 12 results for science and commerce stream on July 31.
The board said that students will have to submit their grievances before the higher secondary schools by August 11 and the schools will forward them to the council by August 12.
"Students will be required to submit the supporting documents attested by the principal if their grievance is genuine and they find discrepancies in awarding of marks. Schools have been asked to verify each grievance before sending them to the Council for rectification," the report said.
This year, CHSE cancelled the exams due to COVID-19 situation and the Class 12 results were prepared on the basis of an alternative evaluation criteria . According to the criteria, the students were awarded marks on the basis of their performance in previous classes. This year, the pass percentage was 95%.
Students who are not satisfied with Class 12 results can raise grievances and appear for an offline exam, the date of which will be informed by the council soon.
Last year, over 3 lakh students appeared for Odisha Class 12 exams wherein a total of 70.21% candidates passed the science stream while 74.95% students passed in the commerce stream.
