OSSC CGL specialist 2025 prelims postponed; revised schedule awaited
OSSC CGL recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 173 vacancies of assistant statistical officer and statistical assistant.

NEW DELHI: The Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) has postponed the Combined Graduate Level Recruitment Examination (CGLRE) Specialist preliminary examination 2025. The commission will announce the updated OSSC CGL specialist 2025 exam dates later on the official website at ossc.gov.in.
Earlier, the OSSC CGL specialist exam 2025 was scheduled to be held on April 13. The commission has not provided any specific reason for the postponement and asked candidates to visit the OSSC official website for further updates in the matter, including the rejection list and the revised date of the preliminary examination.
“Pursuant to Advertisement No.4614/OSSC Dt.19.11.2024 and in continuation to Notice No.1578/OSSC dt.25.03.2025, it is for information of all concerned that the Preliminary examination of Combined Graduate Level Recruitment Examination for Group-B & Group-C Specialist Posts/ Services-2024 (CGLRE Specialist-2024) to be held on 13.04.2025 is hereby postponed,” the official notice said.
The OSSC CGL recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 173 vacancies of assistant statistical officer and statistical assistant. Out of these, 169 posts are registered for the assistant statistical officer position and four statistical assistant posts. The OSSC CGL specialist selection process has three stages, including prelims, mains and document verification.
