OSSC CHSL mains 2024 schedule out; exam from September 13

NEW DELHI: The Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) has issued the exam schedule for the Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) exam 2024. Candidates who qualify the prelims exam can download the OSSC CHSL 2024 mains schedule by visiting the official website, ossc.gov.in.

According to the schedule, the OSSC CHSL 2024 mains exam for the junior fisheries technical assistant post will be held on September 13, while the mains exams for the amin and Ayush assistant posts will take place on September 14. On September 13, the exam will be held in a single shift from 2:30 pm to 4 pm. On September 14, the exam will take place in two shifts: Shift 1 from 11 am to 12:30 pm and Shift 2 from 2:30 pm to 4 pm.

The commission will issue the OSSC CHSL 2024 mains admit card on September 6, 2024. Candidates can download their admit card from the official website by entering their application number and date of birth. The recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 673 vacancies for Group B and C services in various departments of the Odisha Government, with 222 of these reserved for women.

Candidates with a permanent disability of at least 40% who requested scribe assistance in their online application should apply using the prescribed format along with the required documents and their admission letter via email to orissassc@gmail.com by September 9, 2024, to obtain permission from the commission.

The OSSC CHSL 2024 selection process includes three stages: preliminary exam, main exam, and certificate verification. The commission announced the OSSC CHSL prelims 2024 result on August 16. A total of 2,352 candidates were shortlisted for the main examination.

The OSSC CHSL 2024 mains exam will consist of 100 questions, each carrying two marks. There will be a negative marking of 0.50 marks for each incorrect answer. No marks will be awarded or deducted for questions left unanswered.
