Panjab University PUTHAT 2022 registration closes today; Here's how to apply

NEW DELHI: Panjab University will be closing the application window for PUTHAT 2022 today, June 30, 2022. The submission of PUTHAT application form is accepted in online mode only. Eligible and interested candidates can register for PUTHAT 2022 at the official website at puthat.puchd.ac.in before the closing time. The admit card for PUTHAT exam 2022 will be available for download from July 8.

Candidates will have to pay the application fee while submitting the PUTHAT application form. PUTHAT 2022 form fee can be paid in online mode only till July 2, 2022. Check the details of application fee here:

• For general category: Rs. 2175

• For SC/ST/PwD: Rs.1088

A concession of 50% in fee will be given to the wards of Panjab University regular employees. Candidates should complete the application form by uploading photo, signature, and rest of the detail by July 4.

The applicants who wish to appear for PUTHAT exam 2022 must satisfy the following eligibility criteria:

• A candidate should have passed the 10+2 examination of Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi or its equivalent with at least 50% marks in aggregate . It is 45% for SC/ST/PwD /BC candidates.

• She/he should have studied English as a compulsory subject at 10+2.

• Click on “Online Registration”

• Register to create login ID and password

• Login using created ID and password

• Make the fee payment

• Fill the details, upload documents, and submit

• Take a printout for future reference

PUTHAT is an university entrance exam for admission to bachelor programs in hotel and tourism management. The paper in the test will have questions from 4 sections viz. - English (30), current affairs and general knowledge (20), reasoning(20) and hospitality industry awareness(30). There will be a total of 100 questions of one mark each, and 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. PUTHAT 2022 will be conducted on July 15, from 10 am to 11:30 am at the university campus, Chandigarh. The result will be announced tentatively on August 5, 2022.
