Pariksha Pe Charcha 2023 LIVE: 'Give students an open sky to explore', says PM Modi; other highlights from PPC

Never take the shortcut, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said in his message to students during the sixth edition of "Pariksha Pe Charcha" on Friday, cautioning that cheating may help them in an exam or two but not in the long run, according to PTI reports.

"There is no fatigue when you work, there is satisfaction. Only when you don't work, do you feel stressed and tired," PM Narendra Modi to students in PPC 2023.

The Pariksha Pe Charcha 2023 was held today, January 27, 2023. The event started at 11 am.

Pariksha Pe Charcha is an annual event held every year. During the event, PM Modi interacts with students, teachers and parents and shares valuable tips on how to crack board and entrance exams in a stress-free manner.

The Pariksha Pe Charcha 2023 was held today from 11 am. The event was live telecasted on Door Darshan and other major TV channels, the YouTube channel of ministry of education, Facebook Live, and MoE’s Twitter account.

PM Modi said that the country which has the world's most ancient language should be proud or not. Do you know that our Tamil language is the oldest language in the world? We have such a huge heritage. It is a matter of pride.  

Students said that they face a lot of distractions due to social media. How do they concentrate on studying and not wasting the time on social media, and games, the students asked PM Modi.

The Pariksha Pe Charcha 2023 Live event concludes. Around 38 lakh students had registered for the events.

The PPC 2023 programme is available on the YouTube channel of the ministry of education, Facebook and MoE’s Twitter account.

Interacting with the students at Pariksha Pe Charcha 2023, the Prime <inister Narendra Modi said: “put those who criticise you in a box” to students who sought his opinion on dealing with criticism.

While interacting with students in PPC 2023, Prime Minister said: "Gadgets are not smarter than you, it's just a means to help you in your journey towards excellence."

There is very thin line between criticism and obstruction. Parents must criticize in a constructive, positive way, PM Narendra Modi said, adding that if students are hardworking and honest, then they should not care about the criticisms because they become the strength.

The Pariksha Pe Charcha 2023 today will be held from 11 am. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in a social media post said: "Children at Talkatora Stadium for #PPC2023 to interact with the Hon'ble PM which is to begin soon!"

Prime Minister's PPC last year was held on April 1. PM Modi while interacting with students last year in Pariksha Pe Charcha said: "There are also exams in between festivals. Because of this, they are not able to enjoy the festivals. But if the exam itself is made a festival, then many colors are filled in it."
