Pondicherry University admission 2022 closes for UG, PG, MBA distance courses on November 15

NEW DELHI: The Directorate of Distance Education (DDE), Pondicherry University has begun the admission process for distance programmes. Candidates will be able to submit application forms by November 15 on the Pondicherry University DDE official website dde.pondiuni.edu.in.

The DDE, Pondicherry University has been offering a total of 20 degree programmes which includes eight MBA degrees, four PG degrees, eight UG degrees. These degree programmes have been recognized and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and the Distance Education Bureau (DEB), New Delhi.

The distance courses include MBA in Marketing, Finance, Human Resource Management, International Business, General, Tourism, Operations & Supply Chain Management and Hospital Management. The university offers four PG degrees including MCom in Finance and MA in English, Hindi and Sociology.

The eight UG degrees in distance education include BBA, BCom, BA in English, Economics, History, Political Science, Sociology and Journalism & Mass Communication.

Pondicherry University DDE said, “Admission process usually commences in July for the Academic year, this year is delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic situation, and the last date for online applications is 15th November 2022. Pondicherry University DDE admission 2022

Candidates will have to keep the scanned copy of the following documents ready before applying for the PU distance courses. Students will have to register online by paying a fee of Rs 200.

• Class 10 12 mark sheet.
• Degree/Provisional certificate of the qualifying degree (Only for PG and MBA Degree programmes)
• Passport size photo
• Aadhaar card
• Fee concession category certificate, if applicable
• Admission will be granted on ‘First Come, First Serve” basis.

According to the prospectus, the fee structure for Pondicherry University DDE UG courses is Rs 9,975, PG aspirants will have to pay Rs 11,425. The fees for all MBA courses except MBA in Hospital Management is Rs 24,925. For MBA in Hospital Management it is Rs 55,500.
