Pondicherry University Admission 2023: Registration for UG, PG distance course ends on March 31

Candidates can submit their application form and make the fee payment through the Government of India Samarth portal.
NEW DELHI: Pondicherry University, Directorate of Distance Education (DDE) is currently accepting applications for its various degree programmes. The registration process started on February 1 and candidates can apply for the courses till March 31, 2023.
During last year's academic year admissions, DDE automated the entire admissions process through the Government of India Samarth portal so that students from any part of the country can submit their applications and pay the fee in online mode.

There are a total of 20 distance degree programmes to which students can apply. The programmes include eight MBA degrees in Marketing, Finance, Human Resource Management, International Business, General, Tourism, Operations and Supply Chain Management and Hospital Management; four PG degrees including MCom in Finance and MA in English, Hindi and Sociology and eight UG degrees- BBA, BCom, BA in English, Economics, History, Political Science, Sociology and Journalism and Mass Communication.
DDE, Pondicherry University is offering professional and job-oriented academic programmes for all those who are unable to join regular academic and vocational education programmes in the university’s affiliated colleges. This is done to cater to the needs of people who could not pursue their higher education in the formal or on-campus streams.

"The DDE, Pondicherry University had also conducted a series of international webinars in February 2022 and the job fair in June 2022 and September 2022 in Pondicherry and Bangalore respectively for the benefit of its students and that helped in getting placement to large number of students. This year also it is planned to conduct Job Fair in the month of September at Pondicherry as well as in Chennai and Kolkata. There would be certainly a lot of takeaways from these events for each one of us, which would help us in our future endeavours, wherever we would be," says Dr Arvind Gupta, Director, DDE, Pondicherry University.
