NEW DELHI : Presidency University, Kolkata has released the Presidency University second merit list 2020 for admission to UG programmes on September 17. Candidates who have registered themselves for Presidency University admissions can check the Presidency University 2020 merit list by visiting the official website of the university, presiuniv.ac.in.
The Presidency University third merit list 2020 will be released tentatively on September 29. The admission fee portal for admissions against second merit list will be available till September 22 and admission portal will be available till September 23.
The 2nd merit list of Presidency University was scheduled to be released on September 16, but later got postponed, The first Presidency University merit list 2020 for UG courses was released on September 5. The verification status of 1st Presidency University merit list was available till September 17.
West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Boards (WBJEEB) had earlier decided to do away with the Presidency University Bachelor's Degree Entrance Test this year, due to the Covid-19 situation. The merit list of PU is formed depending upon the marks scored by the candidates in the qualifying examination.
The Presidency University general merit list has been released for programmes such as BA in (Bengali, English, Hindi, History, Performing Arts, Philosophy, Political Science, Sociology) and BSc in (Chemistry, Economics, Geography, Geology, Life Sciences, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics).
The merit list of Presidency University contains details such as enrolment number, application number, GMR, rank, remark, name of the programme and category of the candidate. Candidates are allotted a rank based on their qualifying examination marks.
