NEW DELHI: The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) will commence the Punjab Board Class 12 exams 2025 while Mizoram Board of School Education (MBSE) will start the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) Class 10 exams 2025 today, February 19.
Students of the Punjab Board will be appearing for the home science paper whereas Mizoram Board candidates will be writing the language papers including Mizo, alternative English, Hindi, Nepali, Bengali, Manipuri.
As per PSEB date sheet 2025, Class 12 exams will be conducted from 11 am to 2:15 pm. The Mizoram Board exam timings 2025 are 10 am to 1 pm.
PSEB Class 12 Exams 2025: Exam-day instructions
- Students will be given an additional 15 minutes to fill out the answer sheet or OMR sheet columns.
- Tim (Hearing Impaired (HI), Intellectual Disability (ID), Visually Impaired (VI), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Cerebral Palsy, Chronic Neurological Conditions, Specific Learning Disability, Multiple Disabilities including Deaf-blindness, Parkinson's Disease, and Mental Illness) will be provided extra time. All students with disabilities will be given an additional 20 minutes for solving the paper, and will have the facility of a scribe.
- There will be no written paper for the subjects under general stream such as drawing and painting, commercial art, modeling and sculpture. Students can use colored pencils for diagrams in subjects like economics and science.
MBSE HSLC exam 2025: Paper pattern, passing marks
As per the exam pattern, Mizoram Board Class 10 exam 2025 will be held for a duration of three hours and the question paper will carry a total of 80 marks.
In order to pass the exam, a student must obtain at least 33% marks in theory and practical papers each, and a minimum of 33% aggregate marks along with a D grade in the internal assessment.
