Panjab University to conduct PU CET UG 2025 on May 12

NEW DELHI: Panjab University, Chandigarh will conduct the Common Entrance Test (CET) 2025 for admission to undergraduate courses on May 12. Candidates can download the PU CET admit card 2025 from the official website, cetug.puchd.ac.in.

“This is for the information of the public in general and students in particular that the CET (UG) will be held on 12th May, 2025. The examination centres will remain the same as notified earlier. Controller of Examinations, Panjab University, Chandigarh,” the university said in a post on X.

PU CET 2025 exam pattern, marking scheme

As per PU CET 2025 exam pattern, the exam will be conducted for four subjects including physics, chemistry, biology, and mathematics. The medium of examination will be English only. PU CET 2025 question paper will comprise 240 multiple choice questions.

As per the PU CET 2025 marking scheme, two marks will be awarded for each correct answer. There will be negative marking and 25% marks will be deducted for every incorrect response.
