Panjab University opens applications for PUTHAT 2026; hospitality, tourism entrance test on January 9

Panjab University: Candidates can apply for PUTHAT 2026 on the official website, puchd.ac.in, by December 28, for admission to hospitality and tourism courses.
The Panjab University has started accepting online applications for the Panjab University Tourism and Hospitality Aptitude Test (PUTHAT) 2026. Candidates can apply for PUTHAT 2026 on the official website, puchd.ac.in. PU will conduct PUTHAT 2026 on January 9.
The PUTHAT exam 2026 application fee for the general category candidates is Rs 2,850, and for other category candidates, pay is Rs 1,425.
Panjab University conducts the PUTHAT entrance exam for admissions to the 4-year Bachelor of Hotel Management (BHMCT) and Catering Technology and Bachelor of Tourism and Travel Management (BTTM) courses.
For admissions at Panjab University BHMCT programmes, 60 seats are offered, plus six NRI seats and 15 for Foreign nationals. For BTTM courses, 30 seats are offered, in addition to 3 seats for NRI and 8 for Foreign nationals.
PUTHAT Exam Pattern 2026
According to the PUTHAT 2026 exam pattern, the paper will consist of 100 questions of one mark each. Candidates will be given 90 minutes to complete the exam. There will be a be negative marking in the exam, that is, 25% marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.
