NEW DELHI: SMS Medical College, Jaipur has declared the Rajasthan NEET PG round 2 seat allotment results for admission into MD, MS, post MBBS DNB, post MBBS diploma courses. Candidates who have been allotted seats in the Rajasthan NEET PG round 2 counselling will have to report at the allocated medical college between January 18 to 23.

The Rajasthan NEET PG counselling allotment for round 2 has been published on the official website, rajpgneet2024.org. Candidates will be able to download the allotment order from January 17 to 22.

A total of 45 doctors had earlier approached the Jodhpur High Court alleging technical and procedural errors in the provisional state merit list. “Weightage of Bonus Marks in the obtained NEET PG 2024 score shall be given to all eligible in-service candidates after verification by Directorate of Medical and Health Department, Rajasthan,” as per the admission criteria.

Following the court order, the state resumed the counselling process after receiving the revised NEET PG state merit list from the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS). The state counselling committee will conduct a total of four rounds of counselling, including a stray vacancy round.

As per the revised schedule, selected candidates will have to pay one year tuition fee only through NEFT and RTGS mode. The payment should be made before January 22.

Rajasthan NEET PG security deposit

The Rajasthan NEET PG security deposit will be forfeited if a candidate who has been allotted a seat in the round 2 or subsequent rounds fails to join the college. The security money will also be forfeited if the admission gets cancelled due to non-availability of required documents or furnishing false information.

The medical fraternity has opposed the ‘unfair’ security money and demanded for revision of the fee structure. According to the state admission process, students will have to pay Rs 1 lakh, Rs 2 lakh, and Rs 5 lakh for government, management quota seats, and private medical colleges respectively.
