RBI Grade B admit card 2024 out at rbi.org.in; exam on September 8

NEW DELHI: Reserve Bank of India Services Board has issued the admit card for RBI grade B vacancies 2024 on August 29. The RBI Grade B admit card 2024 has been released for phase 1 examination of Officers in Grade 'B' (DR) - General - PY 2024. Candidates appearing for the recruitment exam can download the admit card through the official website of RBI at rbi.org.in.

Candidates will have to use their login credentials such as registration number and date of birth to download the RBI Grade B phase 1 admit card 2024.

The RBI Grade B admit card 2024 will be available on the official website from August 29 to September 8, 2024. As per the schedule, the RBI Grade B examination 2024 for direct recruitment for the post officers in RBI will be held on September 8, 2024 (Sunday).

The RBI Grade B admit card is a mandatory document for the examination day. Candidates will not be allowed to appear for the exam without their hall tickets.

RBI Grade B selection process 2024

The RBI Grade B selection process consists of three main phases:

1. Phase I: Preliminary Exam

• Objective Exam: This phase is an objective-type test covering General Awareness, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning Ability.
• Duration: The exam lasts 2 hours.
• Total Marks: The test is for 200 marks.
• Cut-off Based: Candidates must clear the sectional and overall cut-offs to qualify for the next phase.

2. Phase II: Main Exam

• Paper I (Economic and Social Issues): This is a mix of objective and descriptive questions.
• Paper II (English Writing Skills): This is entirely descriptive, testing essay writing, précis writing, and comprehension skills.
• Paper III (Finance and Management/Economics/Statistics): Depending on the stream you are applying for, this paper could be on Finance and Management, Economics, or Statistics. It's a mix of objective and descriptive questions.
• Total Marks: Each paper is for 100 marks.
• Duration: Each paper is 90 minutes long.
• Weightage: Performance in this phase significantly impacts your final selection.

3. Phase III: Interview

• Interview: Candidates who clear Phase II are called for an interview.
• Total Marks: The interview is out of 75 marks.
• Assessment: This phase assesses the candidate's personality, communication skills, and overall suitability for the role.

Final Selection

• Merit List: The final merit list is prepared based on the marks obtained in Phase II and the Interview.
• Training: Selected candidates undergo training before being posted.
