NEET Re-Exam Answer Key 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) concluded the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) re-exam on June 21. The MBBS college entrance test was held at 5,440 centres in 551 cities across the country. The NEET question paper had 180 questions for a total of 720 marks. As per the NEET 2026 marking scheme, candidates will be awarded 4 marks for each correct answer, while 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect response. No marks will be awarded or deducted for unattempted questions.

How to download NEET 2026 answer key?
The NTA is expected to release the provisional answer key by June 25. Once released, candidates will be able to access the NEET 2026 question paper pdf download link by following these steps.
The NEET UG 2026 response sheet includes the candidate's application number, registration number, exam date and time, question IDs, option IDs, responses marked by the candidate, and the corresponding correct answers.

As of now, the NTA has not announced the release dates for the NEET UG 2026 final answer key and results. Based on previous years' trends, the re-NEET 2026 result is expected to be declared in the last week of July. Along with the results, the agency will also release the NEET All India Quota (AIQ) ranks and cut-off scores for admission to government and private medical colleges across the country.

A 21-year-old woman who appeared for the NEET UG exam was found dead on the banks of the Narmada River in Madhya Pradesh's Khargone district, a day after she went missing. A first-year law student was arrested for allegedly creating a fake NEET-UG question paper using an AI tool and selling it on social media before Sunday's exam, police said. The accused, Akshay Malviya, allegedly charged around Rs 100 to Rs 200 from nearly 25 people by claiming that he had access to the actual NEET-UG question paper. He was arrested on Monday, police added.

Jaipur Police have arrested a NEET UG 2026 candidate after a mobile phone was recovered from her during the examination at a centre in Rajasthan. According to DCP West Prashant Kiran, the invigilator noticed the student behaving suspiciously and, upon checking, found a phone in her possession. The centre superintendent informed the police, who arrived at the centre, questioned the student, and examined the device and her question paper.
During the investigation, police found that the student allegedly intended to use the phone to obtain answers to some questions through an AI tool or search engine. Authorities said no evidence of involvement by any other person has been found so far. The student was arrested and later sent to judicial custody by a court. Police said the phone was confiscated immediately and the question paper was not shared with anyone during the exam. A detailed investigation is underway.
