The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2026 tomorrow, June 21. Cautioning candidates against fraudulent messages and rumours over the re-NEET UG, the NTA has also urged them to download the admit cards through the official website at neet.nta.nic.in.
Over 22.01 lakh candidates will appear for the pen-and-paper based re-NEET UG exam for admission to MBBS, BDS and AYUSH programmes. They can download their re-NEET UG exam hall ticket using their application number and password.

The NEET UG 2026 was originally conducted on May 3. However, due to a report of MBBS question paper leak allegations, NTA cancelled the college admission test on May 12. Currently, the investigation into the NEET UG 2026 paper leak case is being held by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).

In an attempt to secure the sanctity of the re-NEET UG 2026, the government has banned the messaging app Telegram until June 21. Moreover, it has also issued guidelines for candidates regarding dress code, permissible items, and biometric verifications.
The re-NEET UG 2026 will be held on Sunday in a single shift from 2 pm to 5 pm. Though there is no change in exam pattern for re-NEET UG, NTA will follow stricter guidelines related to exam centre frisking and security.
The testing agency has advised candidates to reach their respective exam centre in advance and must carry their NEET UG 2026 admit card, identity proof document such as Aadhaar, PAN or any other govt id proof, along with a passport-size photograph.
Candidates can follow the steps given below to download the re-NEET UG 2026 exam hall ticket.
The NEET UG 2026 question paper will contain 180 questions from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, carrying a total of 720 marks.
As per the marking scheme, candidates will be given 4 marks for each correct answer, while one mark will be taken away for wrong responses. No marks will be rewarded for unanswered questions.

Candidates should reach their NEET UG 2026 exam centre between 11 am and 1:30 pm. The entry gate will close at 1:30 PM, and no one will be allowed to enter after that. Carry a printed admit card, a postcard-size photograph, and a valid photo ID. Candidates should wear light-coloured half-sleeved clothes and slippers or open sandals as per the dress code.

The exercise was carried out to check security arrangements, CCTV surveillance, and the safe transportation of question papers. The re-exam will be held for over 22.79 lakh candidates in India and abroad.
