REET 2021: Board orders test centres not to conduct any other exam on September 26

NEW DELHI: The Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers (also known as REET) is scheduled to be held on September 26, 2021. The District Education Board, Bikaner, Rajasthan on June 28, 2021, circulated a notification confirming the same. In the notice, they have directed the officials not to conduct any other exam except for REET at their centre on September 26, 2021.

REET 2021 exam, which was postponed twice, will now be held on September 26, 2021, and the admit card for the same is expected to be released in August 2021.

REET 2021 exam dates

The BSER also released the REET 2021 application form for EWS category candidates. Candidates belonging to EWS categories can apply from June 21 to July 5, 2021, by visiting the official website - reetbser21.com. This year the REET 2021 recruitment is being conducted to fill in approximately 30,000 REET teacher vacancies.

The exam was earlier scheduled for April 25, 2021, but got postponed to June 20 to provide EWS-category students with a chance to apply. On May 11, the official Twitter handle of BSER announced that the REET 2021 exam has been further postponed and the new dates were released a few days later.

About REET 2021 exam

The REET is conducted to recruit candidates for teacher posts in schools across the state of Rajasthan. Qualified candidates are issued a validity certificate making them eligible to apply as teachers in Classes 1-5 and Classes 6-8. This year, approximately 16 lakh candidates have applied for the REET 2021 exam. The REET 2021 application form was released on January 11, 2021.
