REET 2021: BSER issues official notice about postponement

REET 2021 exam scheduled to be held on June 20, 2021 has been once again postponed. BSER, Ajmer released a notice on its official website regarding the same.
NEW DELHI: The Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan, Ajmer confirmed the postponement of the REET 2021 exam. BSER, Ajmer on its official website reetbser21.com confirmed the postponement. The Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teacher (REET) 2021 was to be conducted on June 20, 2021. The exam conducting authorities have not shared the new dates of the REET 2021 exam. However, we can expect the new dates as well as the REET EWS registrations dates soon.

Earlier, the REET exam was to be conducted on April 25, 2021 but it got postponed to give (Economically Weaker Section) EWS candidates a chance to apply. The new exam dates were then decided to be June 20, 2021, but it has now again been postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic situation as many states are still recovering from the massive strike of the second wave of the coronavirus.

About REET
REET, also known as the Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test (RTET) is conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan. It is a teacher eligibility test conducted within the state of Rajasthan. It is one of the competitive exams and this year itself close to 14 lakh candidates applied for the REET 2021 exam . With the release of the REET EWS registrations 2021, the numbers will surely go up.
The objective of this state-level exam is to make candidates eligible to apply for the post of teachers in class 1 to 8 in government-run schools in Rajasthan. There are two papers in the REET exam and candidates can apply for one or both papers as per the eligibility criteria.
