REET 2021: New exam date announced, registration for EWS to begin from June 21

The State Education Minister of Rajasthan has announced that the REET 2021 exam would be conducted on September 26 and REET application form filling process for EWS will begin from June 21.
NEW DELHI: The State Education Minister of Rajasthan, Govind Singh Dotasara announced on twitter that the REET 2021 exam which was postponed due to the second wave of Coronavirus will now be conducted on September 26. Firstly, the REET exam was supposed to be held on April 25 and then it was postponed to June 20. The exam was postponed again due to the lockdown that was imposed in different parts of the state.

Final DEcision on REET 2021 eligibility certificate soon
According to a report published in Live Hindustan, the final decision on determining the validity of the REET eligibility certificate would be taken soon. Presently the validity of the REET certificate is for seven years. Recently, the Union government had announced that the validity of the CTET certificate would be for life time and had also directed the state governments to also change the validity of the state teacher eligibility test certificate to lifetime.
According to Dotasara, they are yet to receive the final notice from the NCTE and after reviewing it they would take a final call on this. The department is mulling to take the final decision before the reopening of the application window for candidates belonging to the EWS category.
