NEW DELHI: The Consortium of NLUs has released the detailed CLAT 2021 counselling schedule on its official website - consortiumofnlus.ac.in. Registrations for CLAT 2021 counselling will start on July 29. The consortium will send invites for counselling to five times the total number of available seats in participating NLUs.

CLAT 2021 counselling will be conducted in online mode and candidates have to get registered for counselling and pay a counselling fee of Rs 50,000. The last date to register for CLAT counselling 2021 is July 30.
The national-level CLAT 2021 exam was conducted on July 23, 2021, in pen-and-paper mode at 84 test locations across the country.

Registration - In this step, invite-list candidates will have to enter NLU preference and pay the counselling fee of Rs. 50,000
Publication of allotment list - The allotment of seats will be done based on CLAT merit rank 2021 and NLU preference opted by candidates.
Post-seat allotment options - In this step, a candidate will have to pick from three options: 1) accept the seat, 2) Opt for an upgrade (not available for the last seat allotment round), 3) exit the admission process.

The counselling process will include five seat-allotment rounds. In the first four rounds, the candidate will have three options post seat allotment:
Accept / Lock the allotted seat
Opt for upgrade
Exit the admission process.
The upgrade option will not be available for the fifth and final CLAT 2021 seat allotment round.
The consortium will declare the result of CLAT 2021 on July 28, 2021. The CLAT 2021 result would be declared in the form of a consolidated merit list that will contain details like the name of candidates, their All India Rank (AIR), and category ranks.
Prior to the declaration of results, the consolidated will also release the CLAT 2021 answer key (Final) on July 27. The provisional CLAT 2021 answer key was released on July 23.
