According to RRB officials, now the revised result for the 1st stage exam will be announced again after equating candidates score on the revised answer key. The examination authority might also provide grace marks to candidates against the wrong questions or answer options. There is also a possibility that the exam authority will remove the faulty questions and answers while deriving scores of the candidates.
If any of the above options is considered for preparing the revised result, then it’s highly likely that more candidates would be shortlisted for appearing in the next round of the recruitment process i.e. stage 2 exam. The RRB ALP 2018 stage 2 examination is scheduled to begin from December 24.
Once the first stage revised result is announced, candidates can check their scores in online using their registration number and date of birth. The result would be again announced for the exam conducted from August 9 to September 4, wherein 47.56 lakh candidates have taken the test. Along with the result respective boards will also release the cut off and answer key.
It is expected that over 9.50 lakh candidates (which is equivalent to the 15 times of the total vacancies) will be shortlisted for appearing in next round of recruitment process. The exam is being conducted for filling 64,371 vacancies available for Assistant Loco Pilot and Technician posts in various technical departments of Indian Railway.
