NEW DELHI : The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has extended the last date for RRB Group D 2025 recruitment exam registration to March 1. As per the latest RRB update, candidates will have to submit their application fee on or before March 3. Candidates can fill in their application form through the regional website RRB’s.
The application correction window for the RRB Group D 2025 exam will be open from March 4 to 13, as per the revised schedule. The recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 32,438 vacancies in the department.
The RRB Group D application fee 2025 for female and transgender category candidates is Rs 250 while male candidates belonging to the general category have to pay Rs 500 and SC, ST, and PwD male candidates have to pay Rs 250 as applicable fee.
RRB Group D 2025 exam pattern
As per the RRB Group D exam pattern, candidates have to qualify for three stages of the exam including computer based test, physical efficiency test (PET), document verification, and medical tests. Candidates who qualify for the written exam will be called for the next round of selection. The written test will have 100 questions in total. The exam duration is 90 minutes.
Candidates will be awarded one mark for each correct answer and ⅓ marks will be deducted for incorrect answers. Candidates who qualify for the written exam will be called in for PET and those who pass the physical test will have to appear for document verification round and other medical tests.
RRB Group D 2025 eligibility criteria
Candidates willing to apply for the RRB Group D 2025 recruitment exam can check the detailed eligibility criteria mentioned below.
- Applicants must be between the age group of 18 to 36. Age relaxation will be applicable for certain categories such as SC, ST, ex-servicemen, etc.
- Minimum educational qualification is passing Class 10 from a recognized board. Additionally, in some cases, an ITI or a diploma in a specific field is required.
- Applicants must be citizens of India.
Applicants must meet the required height and weight requirements as shown in the table below.
