NEW DELHI: The ministry of railways has warned of disciplinary and legal action against candidates found to be disclosing the content of the recruitment exam through social media platforms or any other medium.
The RRB recruitment board issued the notified after some persons were found engaging in unfair means to circulate the exam content through social media platforms such as YouTube, Twitter (now X), Facebook.
“The Railway Recruitment Board’s has time & again brought to the notice of candidates and other stakeholders that anyone found to be disclosing, publishing, reproducing, transmitting, storing or facilitating transmission and storage of test contents in any form of any information therein in whole or part thereof or by any means i.e. verbal or written, electronic or mechanical or taking away the rough papers supplied in the exam centre or found to be in unauthorized possession of test content will be considered as serious misconduct & will be debarred/disqualified from exam,” the notification read.
Candidates who are found to be in possession of test content will be disqualified from the recruitment exam, the ministry reiterated.
“Disciplinary & Legal action would be taken against such candidates or persons/individuals involved as per rules & such matters would be reported to police, if necessary,” it added.
The board is conducting the RRB RPF SI recruitment 2024 in the Railway Protection Force and RPSF. The exam will commence on December 2 and will continue on December 3, 9, 12, and 13. On the other hand, the exam for Assistant Loco Pilot vacancies will conclude on November 29.
