The Student Academic Management System (SAMS), Odisha, has declared the round 1 seat allotment result for postgraduate (PG) admissions 2026. Candidates who registered for the centralised PG admissions can check their allotment status through the official SAMS Odisha website, pg.samsodisha.gov.in, using their login details.

SAMS Odisha PG 2026 round 1 seat allotment results will include the college, course, and category allotted to the candidates for admission to PG courses at participating colleges and universities in Odisha.

Candidates allotted seats in SAMS Odisha PG 2026 round 1 must complete the online admission formalities within the deadline prescribed and report to the respective institutions to confirm their admissions.

  • Visit the official SAMS Odisha PG portal, pg.samsodisha.gov.in
  • On the homepage, click on round 1 allotment result
  • Enter the Common PG Entrance Test (CPET) 2026 application number
  • Then, check the allotted college, course and category
  • Save the seat allotment letter for future use
  • Students should download the allotment letter and follow the admission instructions issued.

Documents required for round 1 reporting

Candidates should keep the following documents ready for admission and verification.

  • SAMS Odisha PG provisional allotment/intimation letter
  • Original certificates and mark sheets of the qualifying/graduation examination
  • 10th standard certificate and mark sheet as proof of date of birth
  • Graduation/degree certificate or provisional certificate
  • Caste/SEBC certificate, if applicable
  • Residence certificate, if applicable

Freeze, Float, Slide options

After SAMS Odisha PG 2026 round 1 seat allotment, candidates can choose from the following options.

  • Freeze: Candidates who are satisfied with the allotment can choose the freeze option to accept the seat.
  • Slide: Candidates can accept the allotted seat and opt for a better branch in the same allotted institute.
  • Float: Those who are not satisfied and want to opt for a better seat in the next round can select the float option.

The current allotted seat will be retained for candidates selecting the float option while they are considered for an upgrade.
