Sathyabama University Placements 2026: 91.88% students placed; highest package at Rs 41.20 LPA

Sathyabama University reports 3,633 offers from 380+ companies, with rising salaries and global study opportunities for students

Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology celebrated its excellence day 2026 on April 30 at the campus, recognising student achievements and academic success. The event was attended by chancellor Mariazeena Johnson, president Marie Johnson, and cricketer Abhishek Sharma, who presented awards to students.

In the present final-year batch, more than 380 global and national companies took part in campus recruitment this year. So far, students have received a total of 3,633 job offers across different roles and sectors.

According to the institute, 91.88% of registered students have already been placed. It also noted that salary packages have seen an increase, with the highest offer reaching Rs 41.20 lakh per annum.

Which recruiters visited Sathyabama University?

Sathyabama said a mix of global and Indian companies visited the campus this year. Recruiters included firms like Amazon, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Deloitte, HCL, IBM, Oracle, PwC, TCS, and Zoho, among others.

The institute said this reflects its strong ties with industry and its ability to attract well-known recruiters year after year. It added that students are getting opportunities in areas such as technology, consulting, and global business roles.

It also highlighted that over 400 offers came through its centres of excellence, which are run in collaboration with companies like Cognizant, HCL, Hexaware, PwC, and Wipro. According to the institute, these centres help students build practical skills that are aligned with industry needs.

The institute noted a rise in the number of Dream, Super Dream, and Elite companies visiting the campus this year. These companies typically offer higher salary packages and more competitive roles.

Global opportunities

Apart from placements, the institute also shared details about students opting for higher studies abroad. It said that 235 final-year students have secured admissions in universities across countries like the US, UK, Canada, Germany, France, and Australia.

According to the institute, its Advisory Bureau for Higher Studies supports students through the application process. It also mentioned that several students have received scholarships for their higher education across countries such as Australia, Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Netherlands, Scotland, Taiwan, UAE, United States, and the United Kingdom.

The institute said this reflects its focus on helping students explore global academic opportunities alongside career placements.

Alumni guide students

Sathyabama credited its alumni network as another key factor behind its placement outcomes. The institute said alumni regularly guide students, help them prepare for careers, and connect them with industry opportunities.

It added that many of its alumni are now working in senior roles across multinational companies, startups, and research organisations. Their involvement, the institute said, strengthens both student support and industry collaboration.
