SIMATS Chancellor Dr N M Veeraiyan Scholarship will cover tuition fees and all other basic amenities such as accommodation, meals, and transportation for EWS students

Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences Admission 2026-27: Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences, Chennai has announced the Chancellor Dr.N.M.Veeraiyan Scholarship for economically backward students in the branches of technology, architecture, arts, law, agriculture, nursing and physiotherapy. The Saveetha group of institutions will offer free education, covering tuition fees and other basic amenities such as accommodation, meals and transportation for the shortlisted students.
According to the official SIMATS press release, students who have passed Class 12 and appeared for the Saveetha entrance exam and personal interview will be eligible for admission.
The eligibility requirement for the Chancellor Dr.N.M.Veeraiyan Scholarship states that students must have a minimum of 60% in Class 12, and they should not have opted for any other scholarship for the same course.
“Recipients of the scholarship will be required to fulfil a commitment to work for a specified duration, in accordance with the regulations of their enrolled course,” the official SIMATS press release said.
