SBI PO 2018 final result announced; 2003 candidates selected for 2000 vacancies

New Delhi, October 30: State Bank of India (SBI) has declared the final result of SBI PO in the form of roll numbers of the qualified candidates in a PDF file. The SBI PO final result 2018 has been prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the mains exam (objective+descriptive test) and GE & Interview. The Group Exercise and Interview were conducted from September 24 to October 12, 2018.

As per the final result of SBI PO 2018, as many as 2003 candidates have been shortlisted as Probationary Officers for 2000 vacancies.
Earlier, the result of the mains examination of SBI PO Mains 2018 was declared wherein 6009 candidates were shortlisted to appear in the Group Exercise and Interview. Out of these 6009 candidates, only 2003 candidates have qualified for the final recruitment process. SBI is also communicating to the qualified candidates about the further recruitment procedure through their registered email IDs or SMS on their registered contact numbers.
Selected candidates in SBI PO will be recruited on probation for a period of two years where they have to undergo training. Candidates who will successfully complete the training period will be recruited as Probationary Officers.
SBI PO exam is conducted in three phases - Prelims, Mains and GE and Interview. Candidates will have to qualify all the stages of selection procedure in order to get selected for the recruitment across its various branches as Probationary Officers. This year, the bank has announced a total of 2000 vacancies for the recruitment of Probationary Officers.
