Download EBookNEW DELHI: Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA) has issued new guidelines for conducting internal assessments for Classes 9th and 10th. The Assam Board on Friday issued a revised notification on the timeline and weightage of internal exams for the academic year 2021-22 for Classes 9th and 10th.

“It is hereby notified for information of all the concerned that, this year due to closure of schools since 3rd week of April 2021 there has been an academic loss of the students and as schools may open from September 1, 2021”, read the SEBA notification.
“Therefore as given in the earlier notification regarding holding of the unit test-1 from August 16, 2021, maybe deferred and schools may hold the exam in a suitable date as per their convenience. Half-yearly, 2nd unit test and annual/ pre-board examination should be held as per the timeline given in the earlier notification”, added the official notification.
The examination wise weightage for the six subjects - English, Mathematics, Science, Social Science, Advanced Mathematics and Geography - of Classes of 9th and 10th is given below.
