NEW DELHI: The Symbiosis International (Deemed) University conducted the first phase of SNAP 2021 in computer-based mode. According to the SNAP exam analysis, overall the question paper was moderately difficult. Career Launcher and IMS have provided the SNAP exam analysis and the expected cutoff. They have also mentioned the expected cutoff and score vs percentile also. SNAP answer key will be provided here based on the memory-based questions that have been shared by the students.

It is likely that the SNAP cutoff 2021 will be based on last year's trends and one will not witness a drastic change in it. As per the SNAP 2021 exam pattern, questions were asked from three sections: General English (which includes Reading Comprehension, Verbal Ability, and Verbal Reasoning), Data Interpretation, and Data Sufficiency, Analytical & Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative. Analytical & Logical Reasoning

Of the 25 questions in this section, 10 were in Verbal Reasoning and the remaining 15 were in Non-Verbal Reasoning. This is the easiest section in the SNAP test.

Quantitative, Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency

Of the 20 questions in this section, 19 are math and one is singleton and data interpretation. There is no question of Data Sufficiency. Overall this area is quite moderate in terms of the level of difficulty. 5 to 6 questions were somewhat challenging.

SNAP 2021 result date and time

Symbiosis International (Deemed) University has successfully conducted the phase 1 SNAP 2021 on December 19, from 2 pm to 3 pm. The SNAP result 2021 is scheduled to be declared on February 1, 2022. How many times can I give SNAP exam?

The Symbiosis International University (SIU) is conducting the SNAP 2021 in three phases. The first phase of SNAP 2021 was successfully concluded on December 19. Students who do not do well in the phase 1 SNAP exam, can appear for phase 2 on January 8 or phase 3 on January 16, 2022.

The candidates can take a maximum of 2 attempts for the exam out of the 3 tests scheduled and the score of best of the two attempts will be taken into consideration for admission.

SNAP 2021: Student's reaction

A SNAP aspirant said It is my first attempt. The difficulty level of the exam was easy. I have attempted 47 questions out of 60. According to me, the LR was moderate and Quant too was moderate, and the General English section was easy to moderate. But there was no reading comprehension in General English.

Another student who appeared for SNAP 2021 phase 1 said, “The exam was not that difficult and I could complete 53 questions out of 60. For me, QA was quite a difficult section. The others were easy to moderate. There were no technical glitches in the SNAP exam and it was conducted successfully.

Candidates appearing for the SNAP 2021 exam must strictly adhere to the following COVID-19 guidelines for their own and others’ safety:

  • Maintain social distancing.

  • Bring your own gloves, face mask, and hand sanitizer (not more than 50ml)

  • Candidates showing COVID-19 symptoms will not be allowed to enter the examination centre.

  • Candidates will have to display their status on their Aarogya Setu app to the security guard at the entrance.

  • Follow all the instructions given by representatives and stand in the circle drawn at the entry points.

  • At the registration desk, candidates will have to sanitize their hands by using provided sanitizer.

  • Do not dispose of the used mask and gloves inside the examination room; dispose of them when you reach home.

SNAP Exam 2021- Marking scheme

SNAP 2021 exam will have 60 questions and 1 mark will be allotted for each correct answer. However, SNAP exam 2021 will also have a negative marking of 25% for every incorrect answer.

Candidates must focus on maintaining speed and accuracy while attempting the snap 2021 question paper. It is advisable not to spend too much time on any question and the focus shouldn’t be on attempting each and every question.

SNAP 2021 exam pattern

SNAP 2021 exam is a computer-based test. Candidates will have to answer 60 questions in one hour. SNAP exam 2021 is an objective test and candidates will have to choose the correct answer from the four options that are provided. 

One mark will be allotted for every correct answer, while 0.25 marks will be deducted for every incorrect answer. SNAP 2021 exam paper will be divided into three sections -

SNAP exam 2021- Dress code

Candidates who are going to appear for SNAP exam 2021 must adhere to the following dress code:

  • Don’t wear clothes with too many pockets

  • Don’t carry any purses or handbags to the SNAP examination hall

  • Wear something simple like a pullover and trousers with no pockets

  • Don’t have Mehendi applied on your hands

  • There should not be any writing on your body

  • Don't wear heavy jewellery or ornaments

Prior to taking entry into the SNAP test centre, the invigilator will check whether all the relevant details are mentioned in the SNAP admit card or not. The following details have to be mentioned on the SNAP admit card.

  • Reporting time

SNAP 2021 exam- What ID proof to carry?

Along with the SNAP 2021 admit card, candidates must carry original identity proof. Students are required to carry any of the following Government-issued photo ID proofs to the SNAP test centre:

  • Aadhar card

  • PAN card

  • Voter ID

  • Passport

  • Driving license

SNAP 2021 exam date and timing

The SNAP 2021 exam will be held today, December 19, from 2 PM to 3 PM. Candidates are advised to reach the SNAP 2021 exam center an hour before the examination, as entry to the exam hall will start sometime before the examination. Moreover, the SNAP 2021 reporting time is 12.00 hours (12 PM) so that candidates get sufficient time to complete the biometric data gathering and registration process at the exam center.

It is to be noted that candidates will not be allowed to enter the SNAP examination center post 14.00hours. It is advised to reach the examination center before time with the required documents, i.e. SNAP admit card and Government-issued photo ID card.

SNAP 2021 exam day guidelines

Candidates appearing for the SNAP 2021 exam must keep the following exam day guidelines in mind -

  • Reach the SNAP Exam center before time to have sufficient time for registration at the venue.

  • Carry a coloured copy of the SNAP 2021 admit card 

  • Carry a Government-issued photo ID proof such as Driving License, PAN Card, Voter ID, Aadhar card, and Passport. 

  • Avoid carrying electronic gadgets such as mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators, and other smart devices at the SNAP exam center as it will not be allowed inside the center and there is no locker facility available.
